It is of extreem importance that a benefactor/donor to a worthy cause can see that the charitable organisation uses their money wisely. In the last years diverse guidelines, codes of practice and quality controls have been incorporated to see that this happens.
The existence of too many quality controls has lead to confusion and at this moment in time new proposals and guidelines are actively being investigated solely for charitable organisations. Once these proposals and guidelines are finalized they will be incorporated into a single code of practice for all charitable organisations.
With effect from 1 january 2016 you can register with the CBF and become a certified user of the new code of practice.
